Maura Jones

Maura Jones is a tenth grade student at Altoona Area High School in Altoona, Pennsylvania. At school Maura participates in winter and spring track, Leadership Blair County Youth, Junior Academy of Science, Interact, FBL and Young Life. Maura is a writer and sports editor for her high school newspaper, the Mountain Echo and contributes an opinion column covering national issues important to teenagers. This will be Maura’s second year attending the Peter Jennings Project.
