Liberty Medal Ceremony Update

Due to inclement weather, the 2011 Liberty Medal ceremony will be moved inside the National Constitution Center.

Because of the location change, seats for the general public are no longer available for the ceremony. 

We encourage everyone to watch the live broadcast on 6abc or the webcast on www.6abc.com.

After careful consideration, the National Constitution Center’s management team reached the difficult decision to move this year’s ceremony indoors.  The health, comfort and safety of the honoree, performers, guests and crew are our top priority. We are disappointed that we are unable to hold our premier event outdoors for the first time in our six-year history of presenting the Medal.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please accept a complimentary ticket to the museum. Simply bring your Liberty Medal ticket to the box office to redeem your free pass. Thank you for your support of the Liberty Medal and the National Constitution Center.
